Included in your Forever Bra Repair™ kit is The Forever Thread™ 5X stronger than steel by weight. This is one of the most durable aramid fibers in the world, extremely strong and extremely reliable.
To understand how simple The Forever Bra Repair™ is to install, let us review a couple of things.
Your Bra has an outer (pleasing to the eye) fabric and the two bra cups. At the end of each Bra cup is a hem. A side hem by our ribs and a chest hem typically where both cups meet in the middle.
At the bottom of each Bra cup is a thin fabric channel and within that channel is that dreaded steel underwire.
The underwire is normally wrapped in a thin cloth sleeve (barely visible). This underwire sleeve was installed to delay the underwire from coming out before you even bought the Bra.
The underwire due to the steel tip has now worn through both the cloth sleeve and the pretty outer fabric you see to poke you.
This is extremely important: Every Bra manufacturer uses a different sized and designed set of underwires.
You can see 5 Bras and they are all C cup Bras made by the same company. Hanging right next to each other, These Bras can all use different width, thickness and shaped underwires inside them. There are over 450 differing types of underwires. This is important to know for below.
The Forever Bra Repair™ is very simple to use and only takes about 5 minutes to give you back your comfortable Bra and save you time and money.What you will need:
One Forever Bra Repair Kit, a Scissor, a Needle and about 5 Minutes. That’s it.
When you open your kit, you will see different sized molded underwire anchor caps and our Patented Forever Thread ™.
One of the provided Bra underwire anchor caps will fit your underwire. The patented poly anchor cap has a hole that goes right through the middle so you can feed the anchor thread through it.
The Large slot goes over your underwire end. The small hole is where the special reinforced anchor thread goes, then you attach the Forever Thread® to your sewing needle. So Simple.
What you need to do:
- First trim away a bit of the excess material from where the underwire is protruding with your scissors tips. Carefully trim a little bit of the small underwire cloth sleeve (This is the cloth material that is around the underwire) this will give the Forever Bra Repair ™ anchor repair cap a little bit of room to sit inside the bra underwire channel.
Time: 1 Minute - Find the Forever Bra Repair™ anchor cap from the kit that best fits over the end of your underwire, snug is good, tight is not good.
Time: 1 Minute - Put the Forever Thread™ included with your Forever Bra Repair™ through the Forever Bra Repair™ underwire anchor cap, going first through the large slot end and out through the small round hole end, then pull it through until the thread stops. Attach the end of the Forever Thread™ to your sewing needle and get ready to sew.
Time: 90 Seconds. - Slide your chosen Forever Bra Repair™ anchor cap onto the end of your underwire, and push the anchor cap and your underwire back into the underwire casing area you trimmed above.
Time: 30 Seconds - Using the directions enclosed sew the Forever Bra Repair ™ anchor cap to the bra hem. IMPORTANT: The direction of your first stitch is VERY important. Please follow the advice of our video or follow the easy to read instructions enclosed in the kit.
- Once you’re done stitching the Forever Bra Repair ™ anchor cap to your bra hem, the underwire will now be kept in place and will not poke you again. That’s it ! A simple 5 minute repair and you can keep your Bra.
